About This Event

Organized by the Japan Patent Office (JPO) and the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), the Japan Session in IP Week @ SG 2018 will take the theme of "Keeping up with New Technologies."

The session will feature an introduction by the JPO of recent initiatives designed to promote the use of IoT, AI and other new technologies to lead innovation, as well as a panel discussion in which private-sector IP specialists share their insights into the role of IP systems in new technology-led innovation.
