Justice Aedit Abdullah joined the Supreme Court in 2014 and was appointed Judge of the High Court on 30 September 2017.
Justice Abdullah graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 1994 with a Bachelor of Laws. He also holds a Bachelor of Civil Law from the University of Oxford and a Master in Public Management from NUS.
He began his career as a Justice’s Law Clerk. He then taught at the Faculty of Law, NUS, before rejoining the Singapore Legal Service. Over the years, he has served as a Deputy Public Prosecutor, Deputy Senior State Counsel and District Judge. He was appointed Chief Prosecutor at the Attorney-General’s Chambers (AGC) in 2011. He has also been seconded to the Monetary Authority of Singapore twice.
He was appointed Senior Counsel in 2012.
