Mr Satvinder Singh has been Assistant Chief Executive Officer of Enterprise Singapore since November 2013.

Enterprise Singapore, formerly International Enterprise Singapore and SPRING Singapore, is the government agency championing enterprise development. The agency works with committed companies to build capabilities, innovate and internationalise. It also supports the growth of Singapore as a hub for global trading and startups. As the national standards and accreditation body, Enterprise Singapore continues to build trust in Singapore’s products and services through quality and standards.

Mr Singh currently oversees Enterprise Singapore’s Trade, Connectivity & Business Services.

The Trade Group fosters the growth of Singapore’s Wholesale distribution sector firms and oversee the competitiveness of the trade eco-system. The sector consists of 34,000 firms and is the third largest Value-Add contributor to Singapore’s economy, including one of its largest PMET employers. The Wholesale sector includes the attraction of international commodities trading sector global players and the development of trade infrastructure in financing, price discovery, regulation, supply chain and trading talent. The Connectivity Group drives the growth and capability of transport and logistics companies in Land, Sea and Air and Urban. These includes embracement and adoption of business transformation, build capabilities and grow internationally, expertise in high-growth specialised chain such as e-commerce, perishable food, healthcare, chemical and project and urban logistics. The Business Services Group oversees the growth internationally and capabilities of Singapore companies covering Financial, Legal, Accounting, HR and Business consultancies.

Mr Singh oversaw the Trade Promotion Group, Enterprise Partnership Group and Corporate Communications Group prior to Apr 2018. He was stationed in New York as then IE’s Group Director for the Americas region from August 2006 to July 2010. He developed IE’s network of connections and strategy for the Americas region. During this period, he managed overseas centres in New York, Los Angeles, Sao Paulo and Mexico City. He also led the formation of the Latin Asia Business Forum in 2004, which is now the premier platform in fostering investment, trade and thought leadership between Asia and Latin America. Since its inception, it has brought together over 4000 high level government and business leaders from 50 countries.

Mr Singh sits on Ministry of Education’s Innovation & Enterprise Office Committee as the Co-Chairman and on ICC Academy Board of Directors. He is also a member of Nanyang Business School’s Nanyang MBA Industry Advisory Council since November 2013 and previously sat on SPRING’s Board of Directors. Mr Singh attended Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program in 2017.
