Teo Yi-Ling is faculty across the range of courses that the IP Academy offers, and she works with institutions of higher learning to develop and deliver curriculum-specific intellectual property and intellectual property management content for undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
A qualified Barrister-at-Law (England & Wales) and an Advocate & Solicitor (Singapore), she has practice experience in the areas of commercial intellectual property, technology, and media and entertainment. She holds an LL.M. from Northwestern University School of Law in Chicago, USA.
Yi-Ling has almost 2 decades of academic experience, having taught media and entertainment law, copyright law, and media ethics at a number of tertiary institutions, including New York University Tisch School of the Arts Asia, and Ngee Ann Polytechnic. She is the author of "Media Law in Singapore", a pioneering work on local media law, published by Sweet & Maxwell.
